Common questions

Questions, answered.

Who will operate the business?

Jon intends to take an active operating role in the acquired business. Kenter Pacific's approach is long-term ownership with direct involvement in operations.

What makes a company a good fit?

An established Southern California business with repeat demand, a capable team, and annual EBITDA of roughly $500,000 to $1.5 million. The criteria above are preferences. An initial conversation helps establish the fit.

What happens in the first conversation?

The initial conversation covers how the business works, the owner's reasons for considering a sale, and priorities for a transition. A full presentation isn't needed to start.

What information would be useful?

The company's location, services, approximate revenue and earnings, and your role in daily operations. Detailed financial documents can come later in the process.

Does Kenter Pacific work with business brokers?

Yes. Brokers are welcome to introduce opportunities that fit the criteria above and share a brief overview of the business.

How is the owner's transition planned?

Transition planning covers the owner's preferred involvement, training needs, and responsibilities after closing. The length and structure of the handover depend on the business and the agreed terms.

what comes next.

A brief introduction is enough to start. Share an overview of the company and the owner's goals for a sale or transition.
